Joey Chestnut better get used to finishing 2nd and Sonya 3rd when the Queen arrives in town for the yearly circuit

The “Queen” is finally going to eat against top eaters? If so, she better hang on to memories of those Nathan’s qualifier victories each year. I’m trying to think of a nonqualifier type of MLE event she can win, but none come to mind, unless the top half dozen all stay home.

Both Joey and Sonya should just present their belts to Miki now and give up and go home. Miki will disgrace them both and they each deserve it.

Sonya maybe but Joey what is wrong with you people. Jamie ate more than her in that big pizza challenge and Jamie cant beat Joey…. Anon 723 and 1040 you guys thanks for your opinions but your just plain dumb lol . Joey is the best 68 hot dogs 68 not 40…. I will say Miki is an amazing eater though definitely top 5 MLE in the future.

Miki can probably eat 45-50 hot dogs. We know Sonya can eat 45 and she will probably improve from last year. That aside, can Miki eat oysters, wings, cheesecake, crawfish, tacos, eggs, clams, and on and on like Sonya? We will see soon enough. It would be great if she went to Louisiana for an oyster showdown before Nathan’s. I want to see them face of a couple of times before July.

I agree with 96 and Sudo has beat some real heavyweights this year! Go Miki Go Miki! Go Miki! Go Miki! You’re the best and we all bow down to Queen Sudo, the greatest eater to ever squat to take a piss.

You cannot say Miki hasn’t done anything yet, as she has done enough to earn $5K so far. How do you argue with that?

As far as MLE eaters, there have been so few contests to date that there have been few opportunities to earn money. That is changing as we speak, and Miki’s timing for joining MLE couldn’t be better for getting in on the action.

She is eating against some of the best in the biz this weekend in Stockton, CA, and I wish her the best.

Take nothing away from Ignatius Rake who does a marvelous job reporting, but their reports are more of an interpretation of what went on more than anything. They are limited to working with photos that we have already seen from eatfeats links . If they actually had a reporter on the scene for eatch event taking pics and interviewing the eaters, then i would say a jop jolly well done .

Ignatius does a tremendous job from across the pond—-better than just about anyone THIS side of the Atlantic!

With Ignatius, after reading his stories about competitive eating, I never feel Raked over the coals. It’s always time well spent.

Hello all and thank you for your kind words.

8.46, that’s a totally valid observation and something of which I’m well aware. Geography, time, money, day jobs, lack of convenient trans-Atlantic bus routes from the bottom of the road – there are a fair few factors behind it. However, if you’re looking for a job…

Just don’t expect any cash. Kok’s spunked it all gambling.
