On Friday, Raina Huang won the dumpling eating contest at the Dumpling and Beer Festival in San Gabriel, CA for the third year in a row. Taran Eckel was runner up.

    When a small or local eating contest is announced, you expect “locals” to show up. So… Who is local to southern California and competes regularly in eating contests besides Raina? Until that situation changes expect her to show up to these things and hold them down. She is the only ‘eating challenger’ in the region who makes a job out of this stuff at the moment. If there WAS a $1000 prize on the line Molly or Brandon woulda flown out there and took it. I think you guys get this.

    Raina won’t show up if an actual eater shows up. She is not able to take a lose gracefully. She’s proven that to many independent eaters . It has been witnessed.

    If Raina makes a job out of it how come she wouldn’t show up to contests where she can make as much for getting 2nd to Molly as she would for winning these contests? Its clear she hand picks her contests to make herself look like she’s better then she is to people who don’t pay attention to competitive eating.

    she hand picks her contests the same way female eaters enter eating challenges they know they can complete or delete the videos they couldnt complete and i can give examples

    I don;t think anybody should turn up to contests as they could die from choking, or at the very least would get ogled by old bitter men who they would never date.

    List some examples @ 1023 . For @918 you can make more revenue making youtube/Facebook videos so why show up when Molly has hated Raina since she started eating?
    Looks like Raina is smart and avoiding unnecessary conflict. Raina just lost a contest in one of her videos to that eater dude I think Terrence looks like a Ken doll .
    She didn’t care to post that. Or her collaboration with Ricardo (Corbucci). Or her collaboration with Bob and Wayne. So you can’t say she doesn’t let anyone know she loses . Makes more sense she’s just avoiding her haters .

    10:23 I’ve seen lots of videos, both male and female, where the eater couldn’t finish. They still post them. It makes the ones they do finish more exciting.

    The only person that hates Raina is Raina herself. Collllabs are different but a contest where their is a good eater she will not show up.
