The Rake & Herald has an interview with Crazy Legs Conti, who says that the Major League Eating: The Game app was a MLE highlight for 2013 (it was ported to the iPhone/iPad last year) and hopes for a return of the CP Biggest Eater circuit (cpbiggesteater.com now brings up an empty page). He advises novice competitive eaters to limit their travel expenses.

    I cannot begin to document all the investments by MLE that were considered brainstorms but became nothing more than financial disasters. Major League eaters rivalries DVD, Game apps, Eats of Strength, Tour De Gorge. The only successful venture still standing is the IFOCE itself
