    Rebecca behnekee used to run this contest and trust me she was one hot tamale but she gave it up over whispers of racism over mexicans

    This is a tough contest. I think it used to be 12 minutes. Why did it change

    I think it changed to 10 mins because tamales are easy to eat. It’s essentially a capacity contest, whether 10 mins or 12 mins in length. I think they moved it to 10 mins because very few tamales were eaten in the last 2 mins, but many people had reversals during that time.
