Report & Pictures from Broadway at the Beach

Dave US Male has emailed some pictures from his trip which can be seen after the jump. Beautiful Brian and Badlands Booker are performing the Bonebreaker Barlow song.
Goldstein provides the following description of the black and white pictures:
The first picture is the actual first ever Non-Nathans competitive eating contest back in 1948 outside the original Dairy Queen. From this picture we discovered that Don “Moses” Lerman was not first ever competitive eating champion. In the second picture is a close up where we find a young Rich Shea interviewing the first champion, (a young) Sykobozo.

This contest was only $500. & only paying out to the winner?!?
Did the ifoce land on a jump back 3 giant spaces spot??
If Booker or Seiken had driven down alone & WON the contest, they may have lost $$$.
Though I do understand the need to get away from the family for a ‘mancation’.

who is Scarlett & Rhett Butler? Can you ship some of that fine southern cuisine up this way via the US Postal Service? I cannot deal wtih another long drive again right now.
Broadway at the Beach was a pretty cool place. Wish I had more time to hang out and hit the ocean with SPBBBMB
