Somebody should loop in Thomas “Goose” Gilbert, Dave “US Male” Goldstein, Stephanie “Chilita” Torres, Johnnie Excel and Brad Sciullo regarding this contest. At least they could win a contest and retain some of their dignity on the Fourth. And, as far as I can tell up til now, at least SubDogs HotDoggery has a bigger prize pot than The Crif Dog Classic claim. Maybe Crif Dogs will have Gilbert, Torres, Excel and Sciullo sell tickets (like a they do for class trips), because weren’t they supposed to announce the prize money for that joke contest last week? It looks like now, since they are charging people $10 to watch Kobi kick those chumps butts, the best the other eaters can hope for is a share of the gate. But have you seen this Roberta’s place — what does it hold 10 people, a goat, and four chickens. It looks like a gang crack house or Groundskeeper Willie’s Shed — what a dump! http://www.goodlifer.com/2009/11/heritage-radio-network/

If Nathan’s charged $, they’d have maybe a few thousand people. W/out Kobi (Wing Bowl gets 20,000+) The better day to have an event like this is 7/4, a day no one works, instead of a friday am in early Feb. that most people work. Crif is probably charging too little considering its Kobi, in an intimate setting. They can probably have tiered pricing. Charge to be a judge, & charge more to be Kobi’s judge.
Does everyone forget that it is a newish thing for Nathan’s to have ANY (official) prize $?!
