does anyone remember pass the buck night in the ABA days? Price of admission on that night was $1 and you get a free loaf of bread included. Some nights they had problems selling even those .

Just watched it. One of the greatest sports documentaries in quite some time. Even if you are not a basketball fan it’s worth watching.

ABA history has the copyright license to post these videos on youtube Get your facts straight before you post inaccurate opinions

11:07 said maybe the link is illegal. Maybe. Maybe is an opinion. OJ links likely never link knowingly to illegal material. Just my opinion. Some posters here often put up illegal links. Or they use copyrighted music for their material. They get miffed when YTube gets after them. They say they do not make money from it so what the hotdog. Fact or fiction? Give your opinion.

My opinion is that you’re a eat feats kiss ass..Now you know the link is legal so stop trying to cover yourself miss goody two shoes. Its safe now so come out come out wherever you are. You won’t get a virus

Why don’t you watch the documentary instead of arguing about trivial copyright laws. You might learn something about a entertaining sport and not about someone just stuffing their face with hot dogs

4:50 makes no sense. one link is legal one link is not.

Who cares if one link is legal or not. I watched the illegal link and enjoyed every minute of it. ESPN 30/30 rarely rebroadcasts their documentaries or you would need to wait months for them to show it again. Thumbs up to the source that provided the link. The same way you praise OJ for coming through with such wonderful beautiful outstanding groundbreaking info, i praise ABA history for doing just the same How do you like that?

wanna bet all your lying asses watched what you refer to as an “illegal link” Give me a break. You just hate the source that provided the link. I bet if OJ posted the “illegal link” you would consider it ingenious

Oj anonymous is too smart to post illegal links. He has a high profile reputation even if we have no idea who he is. Just the facts.

Watching the special isn’t illegal. Making it available is. Did I watch? Do I thank the person? Not really. The only thing the person did was make me aware of it. But I watched the trailer and the link OJ gave. I can buy something if I want to. It was great. People should be paid for their work and efforts. You are stealing when you break those laws. You think it is something small. It isn’t. Not goodie two shoes.

The documentary focus on a basketball team called the St Louis Spirits. They played a carefree brand of basketball conforming to way the league was actually designed. No they were not clown circus act like Harlem Globetrotters but they played and did things the NBA were afraid to try like 3pt shot ball night , hot dog lady etc. Anything to sell tickets which they had a hard time selling. Most came just to watch Dr.J like Rhonda alluded to but the documentary was more of a focus on a player named Marvin Barnes who on any given night could light up the board like Dr J but unfortunately you didn’t know which Barnes would show up on any given night

APE should have come up with a gimmick like paying eaters travel expenses . The 3 or 4 minute heats wasn’t enough to convince IFOCE guys to jump ship
