Where were the two darlings of the media Crazy Legs and Eater x? Culdnt hitch a ride to AC or maybe eater x feared a confrontation with US Male. Hmmm?? Hmmm? Since Janus is a multimillionaire he could afford to splurge on a second hand jalopy and some driving lessons.

What happened to Bob Shoudt? He must have had some sort of injury.

Now you know why everyone wants to do eating challenges. Can you blame them. Same faces win all the time . People like wild bill are finally starting to wisen up and stop wasting time and money competing in contests they cannot win

true champions strive to finish first and not worry about beating out another eater for 5th or 6th place. That seems to be all you care about since you became a competitive eater

If eater x and conti were not in attendance that means the sheas had a big television project in the works for them

Showboat put on a great contest…I was glad to see they decided to use a food with less possibility of discrepancies like last year…except in Mail’s case I assume. I did not see the other end of the table where Mail was so I can’t speak on his behalf…
The food was really good, but seemed slow…obviously by the numbers the rest of us put up…Good seeing everyone

it was funny when the announcer called the Mailman washed-up. What happened to him, wasn’t he the champion from last year?

Pat is superhuman. I have no idea how he put that many down, that quickly. I couldn’t see from my view at the end but I thought someone said he ate his first in about 15 seconds.
The crowd swarmed for the leftovers and rightfully so, the cakes were tasty. I did have 2 people take my leftover cups that I didn’t drink from. I found that odd.

US Male definitely ate 6, not 6.5 like he is stating. In conjunction to the lies that he is fabricating, it was also witnessed that he had taken Davekos’ liquid prior to the start of the competition and would not render it back having poured his crystal light into the cups). “Last year’s champ is yesterdays news”

Great performances all around. A strong showing by Sean Gordon, too. Good job, Gooey.
One of the biggest side stories of this contest has to be the Sonya vs. Juliet showdown. Clearly, Sonia trounced her, eating almost TWICE Juliet’s total (10.5 cakes to Juliet’s 6 cakes). A lot of people are quick to say that Juliet is as good or better than Sonia, but from this contest we can see that Juliet still has a ways to go to match Sonia’s talent.

It’s a bit unfortunate that Sonya and Juliet can’t eat together without being compared to one another, but I guess that’s the nature of things.
I’ve never embraced the nonspoken belief that there exists a finite amount of talent, praise, love, respect etc, which can be exhausted … used up.
While Juliet is no Sonya—-no one is—-Juliet is still (and will certainly go down in the annals of history as) one of the best female speed eaters in the world in her own right.
Not only that, she routinely outperforms more than 3/4 of all the ranked guys, who are twice her size. We often take that for granted, because it happens so often.

Oh goody now rhonda is back. Everytime an anonymous comment is posted and Rhonda thinks it might be Beautifulbrian, she will go under an alias which he or she is anyway, and point out the clues such as ” ” comparing text, and other forms of comparisons that should be reserved for inspector noodle

Wrong there Mr. lack-of-identity man. I’ve said what I said as me. I’ve rarely posted anonymously on this site, except when I didn’t realize I wasn’t looged in until after the non-Rhonda posting. Then, in each situation, except one, late last year, I went back and corrected myself and admited my anonymous posting.
Sets a good example to follow, dont you think? (Well, perhaps not, look at you.)

How dare you recommend a case for Inspector Noodle that is clearly within my Wheelhouse. That guy gets all the good cases and I get stuck trying to figure out who stole Pretty Boys hot water.
