Results match up with an IFOCE contest report which says the contest was 15 minutes (the preview said it would be 12)

    I was able to get a live audio feed of the jalapeno contest but for some reason it caused a windows error and the audio portion was not saved.I intended to post it on my site but maybe it was for the best. The MC of the event appeared to be a newcomer on the scene and there were many silent gaps throughout the contest. This was not a George or Rich Shea radio play by play broadcast by any stretch of the imagination. This might have been classic howard stern type material with a livid Don Lerman about to explode after the contest ended . When i say explode he was extremely upset and some of the comments were not ready for prime time. He feels he let his family and fans down. He devoted the contest to his sisters deceased pet dog and could not come through in the clutch.He feels he got sandbagged I am not the one to speak on his behalf or in a postion to comment on that so maybe you should log on to mosesnews.com in a day or two and read what he has to say. I still say he had a great career, nothing to be ashamed of. I always looked up to him as a great eater back in the days and even now.

    I never even met the guy, but I really wanted him to do well. Pat and Rich put up some ass-screaming number though. Very impressive!

    Looks like Lerman is headed to the AICE . If he thinks he can walk over those guys like competing in an old age retirement home he has another guess coming. AICE would prob get more exposure with a Don Lerman finishing his career there . Something like Willie Mays finishing out his career playing one year with the Mets

    Oh my good god that’s a lot of jalepenos. If any of you are in CO in September, there’s a non-IFOCE competition in Greeley: http://greeleyfiesta.com/EventPage.htm Not sure if there’s any prize money to make it worth your while, though.
