    That’s a very decent thing to do and well deserved by Sonya, Badlands, and George. Since I’ve been following CE, for my money, no emcee in any sport does a better job than Mr. George Shea. He makes each event exciting, and he is so quick-witted. I don’t know how he remembers all those sayings of his. Three of my all-time (and many) favorites are:

    1. “I’ve never been so emotional since the birth of my first child,” and
    2. “Heaven must have rusted through on the bottom, because angels have fallen among us!,” and
    3. “She’s (Sonya) a cross between Billie Jean King, Anna Kournikova, and a jackal, loose on the Serengeti” (from when Sonya first started).

    And when Badlands was eating cheesecake for Animal Planet: “Badlands looks like he’s digging out from a heavy snow!”

    Priceless!

    If anyone is deserving its those three I’m proud to.say I.was.at the inagural event in 2002 and will be there this year. Interviews will be.on the plate

    A farce indeed. Why isn’t Beautiful Brian Seiken on this list. He was at the inaugural event in 2002 and to this day still brings joy and hope to thousands of Wing Festival attendees.

    After that 216 comment i would love to believe that Rhonda Evans is RIch Shea because she seems to know quite alot about the IFOCE George and the eaters in the organization but Rich Shea usually answers an email in five words or less where as Rhonda comments are right there in length with war and peace. I think ill stick to the obvious candidate Hank

    Takeru Kobayashi has never competed in the Buffalo Wing Festival, but I did , in the inaugural in 2002 oleg arrives and says vat is a wing? played everyone for .putz, I ate a tray more the him and got 2nd place, very strange . I never got my due in the Buffalo Wing Festival, Every year I’d eat more than the others and either I had water in my tray to cool down hot grease and the water was weighed and not to embrace the sponcer I made no waves , in the end others are praised and My efforts go to the wayside and made out to be a nothing how sad .

    I think it is a total disgrace that the Shredder lives 5 min from Don Lerman and not once has the Shredder invited him to go out for dinner. Outrage

    Didn’t Don Lerman say in an interview that he is on a strict diet of 2 TV dinners a day? He probably wouldn’t go to dinner with Shredder even if he was invited.

    Looks like they’re going with larger wings this year at the Buff Fest. I don’t know what “Roasters” are but should mean lower wing totals and possibly overall greater weight totals due to more meat to eat off the bone. I give a bigger wing advantage to Joey but let’s see how Sonya handles it.
