Sonya Thomas destroys Barrick Burger

In a recent comment on her website, Sonya Thomas stated she intends to represent the 3 billion+ women on earth by injecting a more deadly venom into her male prey. Sonya definitely lived up to that claim today at the 9 pound Barrick / Big Daddy burger contest at the Plaza Casino in Las Vegas. Her time of approximately 27 minutes was almost half the 48 minutes she needed to finish last year’s contest (and is similar to her almost doubling her amount in last month’s meatball contest.) Las Vegas residents performed well at the contest, with Rich LeFevre and Ron Koch comprising half the top four.

Thank you so much Brian and Bob. What makes this whole experience so enjoyable is guys like you. But the real story is Sonya and another amazing performance. I think she makes us all better.

My greatest congrats to Sonya for killing her old record! I knew she had it in her to demolish the old time. Great job to Rich for pushing her again too, you never cease to amaze me. I ended up trying this contest to see what a long contest would be like. I must say, it is a whole different beast from the other contests. My hat goes off to everyone who gave this contest their all.

Judging this contest was a real treat for me.Watching the greatest Eaters from One or Two Feet away is amazing .
This Year’s contest had a better Burger prepared than last Year.I thought the Plaza Chefs did a very nice job.
It’s very difficult to cook a Moster like this .Sonya set a pace and kept it till the end.I have so much respect for all the Competitors from One through 15.
Sonya is the best Eater in the US but Rich Lefvre and Chestnut are very close.
The Plaza’s remodeled Entertainment Room is very nice.Smoke and surround Sound made this event very entertaining.
There was only .005 difference between Ron Koch and Tim Eater X Janus for 4th and 5th.
Also it’s very nice the way all the Competitors respect each other just like a Family.
