(from sonyatheblackwidow.com) AroundPhilly.com has an interview with Sonya Thomas in which she says she will not eat “exotic” foods in competition. The Spike TV Saint Patrick’s Day contest will have a beef tongue round, so that might prevent Sonya from participating in that event.

I suspect that several eaters would not like to eat beef tongue. I would not.

look what was eaten in the gluutonbowl , tongue , rocky mountain oysters cow brains you think the eaters enjoyed it ?, we did it becauase thats what was up fot eating , unless its a religios restridction like meat or pork an eater should eat whats ever on the menue at a contest

Don that is up to each eater. This is not Fear Factor for God’s sake. Menu items have always been revealed to eaters beforehand, to my knowledge. I enjoy competitive eating but never watch Fear Factor because it grosses me out. If CE was like that in the old days then no wonder it was not followed.

I do agree Don. Sonya is simply copping out. Shes laying the groundwork for a new legitimate excuse for sub par performances. “The food was weird.” She should be retired too. She absolutely sucks now.
