    Thanks Rhonda! This was my first try at ice cream again after failing horribly on the Kitchen Sink challenge at the San Francisco Creamery. Cold challenges like this are not my favorite, but the size of the ice cream and the time they give you looked reasonable, and I wanted to do something to break my losing streak. I do need to state that my time of 9m 57s, while ok, really pales when compared to the guy who ate in just over a minute at Fentons’ Oakland location, where the contest has been going on for a while. They say he just ate the whole thing in two large bites! I could never do that, especially without dying of brain freeze, haha! I was eating quickly, but also casually/neatly in a way, using the small spoon they provided me. I guess I have this fear of spilling ice cream and fudge all over me in public and looking like a fool. I wanted to go to the Oakland location, but there was a huge traffic jam that day on the route I needed to take. Fortunately, they were very accommodating to me at the Vacaville store, and there was a lot more parking available there too. I hope others here will try the challenge someday, if they haven’t already. The price was reasonable and customer service was great. I consider this to be a very do-able challenge, even for beginners and amateurs. It will be a good way for aspiring competitive eaters to break into the field.
