    Okay, first and foremost Stephanie Wu is not a competitive eater. There is an absolute difference between a person with a special craft and a person who uses a “pseudo ” job title to eat a ton of food for no apparent reason . Competitive eaters practice and get better. They make money doing what they do because they are good at it and can do what others can’t. Wu is not. She travels the country for months on end with no real purpose. Her times get worse, she has no specialty food, does not win any contests generally unless absolute amatuers are involved and she does not make a living off of this. She uses CE as an excuse to get free food. Why would anyone want to use her face as the front of their media? She has gained massive weight in the last year and cares nothing about her health. Her ego has gotten out of control. Celebrity card? Is this a joke? You get mad at restaurants when they treat you like a regular person and have to wait in a line?? Who do you think you are? You criticize everyone but yourself. You lose or are slower because someone or something is always to blame. When you go into a restaurant and the challenge is bigger than you want just do it. Weigh the damn thing and eat it anyway. Challenge yourself. Otherwise, you’re in it for free food. You insult all of us who actually work hard at this.

    I’ve been in CE longer than most and have known about Wu for a longer time than many. I don’t know her personally but I would say that in the last year she has gotten very bold about the way she talks about people. Pretty critical from a person who didn’t like it happening to her. Bad mouthing restaurants isn’t productive either. I would suggest though taking a break as she seems to be gaining weight quickly and he times are getting slower. Not sure who is really benefitted in this whole scenario.

    Some people are the worst eaters on this planet yet stand proud of trophies they never deserved in the first place. Making it to Nathans finals 5x twice as wildcard while the others were freebies compliments of low level competition . Furthermore nobody remembers who you are nor do they care.

    I was forced to take baby bites as the jalapeños were hot.
    The burrito was 5.87 lbs instead of 5.
    The sugar really got to me in cupcakes and I’m not good at sugar challenges yet can eat lots of ice cream.

    Goldstein: Hey Kate it’s Allen i registered for Myrtle Beach qualifier by any chance can you tell me who’s competing ?
    Kate Westfall: Damon Signoret and Jamie Carpenter.

    Golstein did not speak to Smelkin during the entire plane ride to Atlanta for Krystal burgers in 2008 claim Smelkin had a mouth odor which is a total fuckin lie . Smelkin brushes his teeth and uses mouthwash every day. The real reason was because Golstein wanted Smelkin to get to his house early and Smelkin disagreed. Ended up going to separate cars because Golstein made up some bullshit story that he had to meet an imaginary friend with the boat on route home. Thats the real story in a nutshell

    I agree that brushing and using mouthwash daily is good for overall oral hygiene but it doesn’t do anything about the brutal mouth odors from advanced gum disease, bacteria embedded in the tongue, lungs and stomach which are conditions BS most definitely has.

    Wu’s philosophy is. A win is a win. Even if you keep doing the same challenge over and over you get a win. She gets mad though when an establishment won’t re serve he a challenge meal for free food. How rude. Do you know who I am? I’m Wu! I even make up my own challenges sometimes for extra wins! It’s a perfect world. This way I can eat AND not feel bad about getting bigger because I’m “working.”

    If you break it down Goldstein made a total of $1950 in 8yrs of competing . That comes to $240 a year or $20 a month. In contrast Seiken made close to 4k in less than 7 months of competing in 2015 With that said he could take those 5 fake Nathans trophies and shove them up his ass
