I think I understand the IFOCE’s logic with having two female eaters. When possible, in their minds, it’s to their advantage to refrain from having the only two females eat against each other, especially if they believe Sonya’s future with them is uncertain. Worst case, assuming that is so, they don’t want their only (remaining) female to be remembered just by her association with Sonya Thomas.
However, they might want to rethink all this. One day they might go to http://www.wloce.com and see Sonya’s picture. Talk about ouch. I don’t think Sonya has ever had much of a problem with Dale Boone, and I believe Dale is much smarter than people give him credit for.

Are you questioning Booker’s judging and final count? That’s pretty lame. He saw everything and had no problem with anyone’s style or count. Why whine when you have no clue? Seems like you only have one line…and it’s really old.

It’s funny too that i could swear you were at the contest and i said hello to you which i will surely avoid in the future. I did not leave that comment and even if you are not the individual i think you might be , i notice that you frequent bits and pieces at least 5 times per day according to my webstats. By the way Booker did an outstanding job in judging . He couldnt be more fair considering some of the mess made on some of the plates. BTW i dont frequent this site as promised. I only check back to see who is badmouthing me and if its worthy of a response. In your case it was justified . Get a life !

Sure lets have one of the notoriously messiest eaters EVER in IFOCE be a judge and rule against debris. Booker wouldn’t do it unless one of the Sheas told him to, especially in a ruling against Joliet. He knows how the Sheas feel about her.
C’mon…..we all know how it works and why it’s done that way so just quit whining (unless they actually let her win a contest) and get on with our day.

Give the girl a break for god sake. She has the job of trying to fill Sonya Thomas shoes and it certainly is not an easy chore. If sonya never existed it would be much easier for her . I think this blog is loaded with two faced bastards that more than likely were at the contest today smiled in juliet and everyone else face and badmouth them on here . There are definitely exceptions to the rule, but for the most part, when you don’t dunk, Pat’s the man; when you do, Joey’s the man.
Pat would thrive (do put it delicately) using the AICE’s picnic style rules platform.

Juliet and Sonya are both special in different ways, and I strongly suspect they both dislike being compared or mixed up with one another. They’re two individuals with different personalities, likes, dislikes, and desires. Juliet is Juliet and Sonya is Sonya. That’s it.

I remember Patty boys first corn beef contest @ Moe’s in Milwalkee. He has come a long way since then. Then I remember him placing first at hot springs and having a sudden death for 2nd place between Joey and Sonia! That was one of bertoletti’s pivotal moments in CE history. AND HE ONLY GETS BETTER!!! Wish I could have been there to cheer all of you on. I have been very busy though. Best of luck to everyone in the up-coming season. I’ll come out to one show …at least.
