The world’s largest competitive eating database

In researching eating challenges, I discovered the database of diners who finished the 48 ounce steak at Don Shula’s Steakhouse. The website claims that over 32000 people have finished the 48 ounce steak. If all those diners are in the database, it would be much larger than eatfeats. (Eatfeats has about 3000 eaters and 6000 contest results)

The website reports that Taft Parker has consumed the 48 ounce steak over 175 times.

I ate TWO 48-oz porterhouses there in one dinner sitting, with a bunch of other stuff. Pic on my website. I said, “Where’s the plaque for the 96-oz?” They said they didn’t have one. I said you better get one!!

Is the meal free if you eat the 48 oz steak at Shula’s?

Bigtime is an inspiration to all eaters. Eats big and keeps himself in tip top shape. I did the 76 oz at J&R in Ny twice . Once in 2001 and when they filmed for MTV true life in 2005. Goldstein, Hardy, Tim Janus Crazy Legs and myself took part in the 2005 challenge The footage at J&R for true life never aired . The order of finish time wise was Hardy. Me, Eater X , Goldstein and Crazy Legs. It was only one of two times i ever finished ahead of Tim in anything. I assume they cut it out of the show because Tim was not first in line to finish the steak . Remember the spotlight for the MTV show focused on Eater X and two other top names in the sport.

Dr. BT you are so underrated. You can kick most of the top 10 eaters’ asses, especially the two girls.
