Updated Krystal Square Off odds

The Krystal Square Off odds on bodog.com have changed considerably since betting began. The current odds for the top 5 favorites:

Takeru Kobayashi 1/7
Sonya “The Black Widow” Thomas 5/1
Chip “The Phenom” Simpson 11/2
Tim “Eater X” Janus 11/2
Joey “Jaws” Chestnut 4/1

The opening odds were:

Takeru Kobayashi 1/1
Joey “Jaws” Chestnut 3/2
Sonya “The Black Widow” Thomas 7/3
Chip “The Phenom” Simpson 9/2
Tim “Eater X” Janus 4/1

    I think Koby wil win, but he sure as hell isn’t worth betting to receive $1.14 back on your $1.00 risked (1 – 7). Joey’s odds are way too high,as are Sonya’s.

    Koby surely should be the favorite, but at about 4 – 5. And, in that case, Sonya and Joey’s odds should be about 5 – 1 and X, Chip, and Bob’s odds should be about 8 – 1, with Rich and Pat about 10 and 12 – 1, respectively.

    My opinion only.

    Keep in mind that the payouts shift over the course of days, NOT because of the liklihood that the horse will win/lose, BUT according to which horse has received the most bets.

    Koby must have received substantial betting, so they have changed the line for him and his competitors to make it more attractive for you to bet on a different horse…like say Joey or Sonya.

    Joey is 4/1 currently. While I still think that Koby should be favored…I think that Joey’s chances are better than 25%. For me, this is the best bet on the field if you are looking to make money. If you think Joeys chances are less than 25% than you should bet elsewhere.

    If you believe that Koby remains a 99% gaurentee, than you should bet him unless they offer a 1% payout or less.

    can we please change the subject and stop with the krystal betting and odds. I mean who cares With only one book and a maximum bet of 50 bucks whats the big deal. I personally think that Booker’s new anti aice song and the trashing of chapman and his organization makes for far better reading enjoyment than this boring topic

    Understand Steak. I’m referring to the bettors being out in left field, not the oddsmakers, as the odds merely reflect the wagering pool per the ever-changing betting choices, just as you indicate.

    Anyway, as much as I’m certain Koby should win, just as in a horse race, anything could happen. I’d bet at 1 – 2, but no less.

    I would surely read bits & pieces a thousand times over than read this boring shit about a max 50 bet as to what are the odds of winning the krystals and im not BB. Wanna bet on that ?
