Just curious, i was under the impression that the Vermonster was a hella hard amount of icecream to put down??

Am i just mistaken, or is this girl just crazy at packin ice cream lol
(how much does the Vermonster usually weigh?)

The Vermonster is a 20-scoop sundae with candy bars, bananas, and other toppings thrown in… it comes in a bucket. It’s gotta be over 6 lbs of food.

Here is the response when questioned if she ate the whole thing:

Notice how OJ Rifkin answers in 7 words or less if he does respond? This is so nobody can compare his text with comments from others. What on earth does he have to hide ? Why is hiding the identity so important?

Matt/NReda – it’s not all that much. I finished it w/no prob alone. The worse part of it was the unbelievable freeze. And the rumor that it’s free if finished in under a certain time is a big, fat lie. After I ate mine, the Ben & Jerry’s wldn’t give me the $35 refund claiming the person who told me that it was free didn’t know what she was talkn ’bout. Was delish tho 🙂

I guess she did puke. :/

Unfortunately this is one “challenge” that you gotta pay for. I’ve heard refund rumors, but the few locations I’ve called told me otherwise. It would be cheaper just to buy a couple gallons of ice cream from your local grocer, throw some Hershey bars and bananas, and go nuts.

Yeah, the same could be said for most restaurant challenges, including the SF Creamery’s Kitchen Sink. Sometimes I wonder why I paid over $40 to fail lol. At the same time though, with a win you get a ton of free sundaes!

The “refund” challenges are ONLY a good deal when you succeed on the first try! But then, I have a strong feeling that people engaged in CE/food fighting aren’t necessarily doing it for the free food.

Oh I’m not sure about that, it’d be a nice prize..they don’t give you enough ice cream for the price. At some places I’ve seen it at $35 dollars but most places I’ve seen is $50! Psycho
