Bob Kuhns wins putting down 38 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes. He could have put down more but at that point he had more than doubled the next closest eater. It’s a shame they won’t let him qualify for Nathans. I guarantee he could do 40+ at Coney Island.

Bullsh*t. Unless they were using natural casing hot dogs at the Wexford contest, there’s no way he would do 40.

I eat at a Johnny’s Lunch all the time. Their hot dogs and buns are tasty, but tiny. I’d say at best 2 of theirs to one Nathans. The natural casing vs skinless is a legitimate point also. Maybe Kuhns would do 20-25 Nathans, and that’s a generous maybe. Everyone knows someone who can do 40+ easily, but they never follow up on that promise.
