Wing Bowl 16 field finalized
Philly.com reports that Tom “Wolfman” Wolf became the last qualifier for Wing Bowl 16 when he won today’s in-studio Wing Off by eating 16 large wings in 5 minutes.
Erik “the Red” Denmark won the hot dog eating contest held at halftime of Saturday’s 76er game to gain entry. The list of ranked out of town eaters omits Juris “Dr. Big Time” Shibayama.
This will be the first all-male field since 2003. The article reports that “Sonja” Thomas did not inquire about entering.

So how many “professional eaters” didn’t make the cut? I know 4sure at least 2 didn’t. Wild Bill came close to winning the hoagie contest but came in 2nd, and the only “pro” eater to fail his stunt that I know of why Pete “philly guy” Miernicki. He wasn’t even close. Should he still be consider a professional eater? Did any other pro eater fail a stunt this year or ever for that matter? Pete didn’t you practice this stunt before doing it on the show?

You fail to mention me only falling 3 wings short of Brad and being pretty close to Erik the Red in hot dogs. The studio is a lot different than you’d imagine.

Unsane is an aggregation of unreal and insane, thus indicating a level of craziness that much higher than merely insane. Duh!

I’m in it. They just didn’t list me with the “nationally ranked out-of-town ranked eaters.” They listed me amongst all the “regular contestants.” No f’n respect!!
