John Squibb was a given to win WB as soon as he was confirmed as an entry (by winning last year). I understand why Joey is heckling him. Other foods aside, Joey probably has some doubt as to whether or not he could triumph against John at Wing Bowl.

Joey is certainly a great eater, no one can say otherwise, but in the last year he has lost more contests than he has won.

Congratulations John (or is it John?)!

If they really want a new winner, they should bring Kobayashi in next year. And if you’re thinking back to the Spike TV event 2 years ago in which Koby got “blown away” in wings, and are tempted to quickly write off Koby, you’d better think again.

There is no one with better CE hand speed on this planet than Koby. Pat B and Sonya are close.

Don Lerman has the fastest Hands in competitive eating and it is stenciled on his jacket and it is so and don’t anyone ever forget that!

When the IFOCE finds out that certain members attended this fiasco , disciplinary action will be applied to each and every one. Regardless of the fact that neither participated , they were there and that is enough reason to enforce stern measures. IFOCE.com does not even address this event on the website so therefore you are disobeying all the guidelines set forth by the organization. Crazy Legs, US Male, Badlands Joey Chestnut and the rest should be ashamed of themselves for attending this orgy of ill repute .

Don’s hands have always been lightning-fast. I was talking about current eaters.

Also, Booker’s hands are both amazingly fast and nimble for a larger fellow. I don’t know how he does it.

My ex-boyfriend had fast hands too, but of a different, unwelcomed nature.

That’s okay OJ. I don’t know how you keep track of an eighth of all you do, yet you make a phenomenally low number of typos/mistakes.

You’re awesome! If they ever give an honorary PhD in CE Information Management, you deserve to receive the initial award!

(Oh shit … I’ll catch hell for that statement, especially because I’m being honest.)

any word on SNACK JACK? no mention of him in the seocn dround after the 80 in the 1st round?

me and some people i work with have about 3 grand riding on this….anyone got accurate numbers for SNACK JACK

All I know is that Snack Jack did not make the final 5 after making the second round, so he finished with less than 130 wings. There were 3 disqualifications in the second round, so he finished 6th or 7th. If you want accurate results, the Wing Bowl is probably not the best event to bet on 😉

Don Moses Lerman is responsbile for wingbowl . He created it and made it what it is today. He should have been invited to do color commentary in a sky box booth. How dare they not even extend an invite to him A stinkin slap in the face if you ask me

Stomachcentric: is it really that bad they were there in support of Rick the Manager? Why should they be disciplined for attending? Why should they be ashamed? WIP should be ashamed that they had a lame event this year again. The even is so much better with pros

HI all I’m calling it 6th i guess as I was tied for 11th going into second round
I finished with 108 I’d eat more but didn’t want to hurl which 5 ahead of me
did. I knew I could eat but enjoy the jockeying with angelo during the Qual stunt
Harder than I was expecting i didn’t practice at all I needed too much water to swallow
I’ll be better prepared for next year but I’m very happy with my 1sr WB showing

since the show aired here at STEAK AND MAIN we have had 21 more attempts with only 5 winners. last night JON “SUPER” SQUIBB accomplished it in 20 minutes then he ate 2 desserts 1 bananas foster and 1 fried cheese cake!! this guy is an animal.
SUPER SQUIBB won THE WING BOWL in Philadelphia the last 2 years. he was 4 wings away from beating JOEY CHESNUTS record of 241 wings.
