(Via Consumerist / KSL) Kaitlin Whipple’s blog reports she participated in a Wendy’s Frosty eating contest with her boyfriend Reed Harris, who had hidden an engagement ring in the dessert without his future fiancee’s knowledge. Kaitlin ate the Frosty so quickly that she did not realize she swallowed the ring. The newly engaged couple report that the ring has been successfully extracted.

I can see it now. On their wedding day, instead of the groom saying “With this ring I thee wed,” the bride will state, “With this ring I be FED!”

I was swimming at the beach at Coney island n 1967 and lost my high school ring 40 yrs later I was in a restaurant and ordered a whole fish and low and behold my ring was in the fish!
