A hot dog eating contest awarding $500 to the winner will be held during the NWL Wrestling card at the Apollo Theater in Martinsburg, West Virginia on August 22.

    I heard the hangman will be in this contest then afterwards he will battle for the heavyweight championship belt.

    The Hangman will not be in West Virginia. Will not be in a hot dog eating contest. Will not be wrestling. He had surgery like Hulk Hogan and will not be out of his wheelchair until Sept 1. Do not look for The Hangman to be in any eating contests before this Labor Day.

    I can verify this. The Hangman is home polishing his Wrestling & Eating Championship belts and will be back on the circuit to greet all his fans soon. Meanwhile, keep those letters and cards coming to the Hangman.
