I kind of felt bad for Jakub. He honestly thought that doing 3 in a minute equals 30 in a 10 minute contest. The “wall” is a fearsome opponent most underestimate.

If Jakub really only got 8, Im a bit surprised. Tells me that he didnt do any practices (or as Mike suggests) or ever tried going for longer than a minute.

Not a known Pittsburgh eater in the bunch….. all the real Pittsburgh eaters are under contract to no entity. They do what They want, when they want.

HAHA Typical Subich! Hes still eating well after the 10minutes and Rich has a look of disgust and absurdity of the mess he has made. Watch the end of the video. Also, insiders state he had full meats under his plates post judging. Looks like his 26 was more like 22

😀 😀 I was a little too confident at the beginning. Anyway it was really fun and I had a great time. Congrats to the winner, and to the other competitors I hope to see at market square next year, this time I will practice before hand.

Good attitude Jakub. Don’t wait until next year though. Get into every contest and challenge you can, regardless of the food and practice that way. Much more fun and productive.

Did you expect otherwise 1226? They should have opted for hooters qualifiers

I just think it’s funny 216 How they can promote the contest and claim that the qualifiers are fair when it seems they bring in the eaters they want to participate in the finals with. When they were judging in the end it looked like the Shea brother was upset with Subich. I guess he had more hotdog on the table instead of down. I think they wanted him to win instead of there other eater… It doesn’t matter Subich will be at the finals with his wife. They have to have him there to put some excitement back because it will be the same thing again this year Shoudt, Janus and Bertoletti will stay close to Chestnut for 3 min or so then he will pull away.
