Rich Shea announces the 2013 Nathan's Boston qualifier will be held in conjunction with a Phantom Gourmet event (April 23, May 18 or June 21-23) and hints the entire circuit will be released next week. Possible sites that were not on the 2012 circuit include Atlanta and St. Louis. update The Calgary qualifier will take place on June 8.

    Seiken came close to beating Pretty Boy last year at Phantom Gourmet . I think he will be there to take the taco crown this year .

    Close? Davekos almost lapped Seiken, 21 to 12.5, and Seiken lost to a non-ranked local. The only reason he did that well is because there was no prize worth any of the top 10’s travel expenses, and Davekos lives there!

    1:12 Yes there is a good reason… to save all the IFOCE ranked eaters from becoming his victims. If you really wanted to claim best this and world record that than MLE would have to make the events open to all comp eaters not the lemmings have pinned down in a one sided contract. Its laughable that they can not use or enjoy their talents with approvable from the Sheas. So sad… The bottom 90% of MLE’s ranked eaters appear to be nothing more than background stooges for its growingly tiresome carny act.

    So let’s see, if I were in APE, any of the ranked IFOCE eaters from 1-50 can beat me? Didn’t I prove this theory wrong already by beating alot of the low, middle & some top 20 ranked eaters several times? Didn’t Damon Wells, Kevin Ross, Dale Boone and others do the same thing? Try again.

    USM is a solid eater. He’s doing what he enjoys- competitively eating when and where he chooses. Competitive eaters, regardless of affiliation, are such a negligible percentage of the general population that they are almost all extremely talented when compared to the normal individual or so called “guy with a big appetite. Thus, keep up the challenges and indy contests Male!
