Wow, and unknown female, eating 12 hotdogs in her first qualifier?? that’s actually some of the most impressive news to come to the female side of MLE in quite sometime.
The competitors on the men’s side for this qualifier is also a very interesting bunch of individuals. I never would’ve guessed that Erik or Steve would’ve tried to qualify.

Eric Denmark is the greatest west coast competitive eater of all time in terms of longevity.

Do you not consider Chesnut as West Coast eater? He started out in San Jose, even though he lives in Indiana now.

I think Denmark has lived in Arizona for about 5 Years
