That quote may express some of Sonya’s feelings, but there is ZERO chance that she said all of that.

For all the controversy brewing on this topic, it’s a good thing that IFOCE didn’t create new ethnic categories for competition. I doubt anyone would have remotely accepted the prize differentials that way. Gender bias is still accepted in some quarters. The whole situation screams “separate is inherently unequal” (Brown vs Board of Education, US Supreme Court 1954). Of course, private companies practicing discrimination is not the same as discrimination practiced by a government.

I can see Sonya thinking that way. That’s an example of what is meant by thinking things through before you speak or post on the Internet. Who could not appreciate her sentiment?

Badlands, Legs, and Sonya (and several others) all have one thing in common—-self respect, which, in turn, results in respect for others.

Legs has self respect and respect for others? HAHAHHAHA Oh Rhonda, you do come up with some funny stuff sometimes…

As for Sonya, She has and always will be a class act!

Rhonda if Badlands, Legs & Sonya were not making money or getting all this attention their way do you think that respect for others crap would hold one ounce of truth?. Shut your mouth because the more patriotic you sound the more sickening it becomes

For all the controversy brewing on this topic

It’s not controversy really. Calling it that legitimizes the opposition’s argument. What it is is just certain men hating on women who can now be their equals, so to speak. Misogyny still exists, as it always has; it’s just more muted nowadays.

If women want the best payout they should have to beat the best (Just like the men do)!
