Sonya won in 2004 and LeFevre won in 2005 which may have been the last year MLE eaters were allowed in the contest.

I wasnt a pro at the time and they kicked me out after I drove there. I asked why: they said “You eat too fast”. I replied “Thats why I registered”

who says youre a pro now?

DaGarbageDisposal is as much a pro as any eater out there. Dude can eat a lot, he competes in challenges, makes some money, plus actually has a presence on YouTube. Far more of a “pro” than those mid ranking names eating like 15 hotdogs you always see competing in the MLE challenges.

I doubt there are more than 2 or 3, what I would call “pros,” in all of competitive eating. By that, I’m referring to people who can make a living off CE alone. Everyone else who competes regularly might enjoy it as a hobby, but that’s about the extent of their efforts.

Anyone who wants to refer to themselves as a pro, so be it but you aint one. Pros eat 30 or more hot dogs . Pros win multiple titles with MLE Pros get outside endorsements . Mr Garbage so far you do not meet any of those requirements . No reason why you were not able to compete in that contest

we all know those rankings are a big joke. What even a bigger joke is you got some who are still ranked but havent competed in a contest in years. The reason for that is sheas like them hoping that by keeping them ranked it might motivate them to register for contests . One example is sonya

Their contest, they can do as they please. As long as it is all info “up front”, (i.e. if no pro’s) I don’t see issue with it. Not approving of past deceptive practices though..
However, the pro vs non-pro debate is exactly up to that – debate. If they refer to themselves as a pro, that seems to be the current standard. Ultimately up to the organization holding the contest / challenge to decide.

On a side note, I do not understand why people have so much animosity for other people’s success. Gossip is pitiful.

why do others have animosity towards others success ? Plain and simple from a personal standpoint . When things are not going you way financially and others are prospering financially it is kinda hard to cheer the other person on. If both are prospering then fine but it never works that way. Without going into detail this link explains it all. If you can’t figure the link out then you are not as bright as you make yourself out to be

I agree Who cares if someone else is making money competing or is making money on youtube ? Does nothing for you and me . Remember that

6:23 can’t you have empathy for someone’s success and be happy for them? Being down about it would only serve to hurt oneself, making the situation untenable to keep a well balanced friendship or respect. There is only one person who is loosing out, and it’s not because of the others success.

1254 you have a point. From now on i will be happy for others success

I personally think its cool there’s a contest with such a legit prize that is for amateurs only, it’s pretty rare.

Hey! Do you know if they make any plugins to assist with SEO?

I’m trying to get my website to rank for some targeted keywords but I’m not seeing very good results.
If you know of any please share. Thank you! I saw similar art here:
