Like last year, the Charlotte, NC area qualifier will be held in the Concord Mills parking lot under the midday sun. While the current eastern USA heat wave will subside somewhat, the high temperature Saturday is currently predicted to reach 90, so entrants and spectators should prepare themselves for high heat and humidity.

The hot dogs will be grilled, the eaters will be boiled, and the spectators will be roasted and burnt.
Last year, the parking lot asphalt added about another 15 degrees to the heat, and I thought I was going to be arrested for child abuse for having my kids outside watching the contest. We should save energy, and just cook the hot dogs on the sidewalk.

Hall will only eat 28.75 again in NC. Juliet can demolish him with contests 10 minutes or less.
