    I must say I am really impressed with Dale Boone. His stomach capacity is increasing and he seems like a better eater now than he ever was.

    Pete I think he would make more money where he’s at. Though Dale has improved, he wouldn’t rank in the top 10 or so in MLE. I’d go as far to say that the only eaters in MLE who are best off being there are the top two or three.

    Even you, as good as you are, are better off profit-wise eating at nonsponsored IFOCE events.

    The cardinal rule is once they throw you out they never let you back in. They would never let boone and menchetti back and they have no interest in coming back anyway. There are too many restrictions they impose for Furious Pete to join. The only incentive to joining up is the curiousity factor as to whether or not he could beat the big guns in the organization

    Dale Boone ate 27 hot dogs at 9 pm .. then turn around and ate 20 apply uglys at noon the next day . I call that a World Champion. and after the apple ugly contest . he did yet another contest at 3 pm . and won it too . what a stud .

    He wont tell you if he sent them an email or not because if he got rejected why would he tell anyone on eatfeats about it? It’s a huge blow to his ego. My guess is that he registered for nathans , but was rejected because they knew about him. He should address a personal email to either of them explaining his desire to compete against the top eaters of the world and i am sure they will let him in

    Good Luck out there on your own, Pete.

    You should’ve just worn the AICE gear when AICE hooked you up with eating events. But, you were too big for your britches. Too cool for school.

    And… you thought you were good enough to convince the Shea’s to let you make the jump. You ran into a brick wall there, didn’t ya? Eaters before you have been there and done that. Actually, Arnie wouldn’t mind if an AICE guy went to Coney Island. He understands the allure. It’s the other side that doesn’t need another top 10 eaters. What’s adding one guy add to their product?

    That’s what happens when you bite the hand that feeds ya. CE was around before Furious Pete. And it will be here after. Without the years of work by the likes of IFOCE and AICE, everyone would be out there doing their own thing. You got opportunities because of your affiliation with AICE… not in spite of your affiliation with AICE.

    Good Luck being a lone soldier. There’s room out there for your type. But it’s gonna make it a lot tougher when nobody is feeding you appearances, events, and opportunities.

    So is the above poster Arnie or Coondog? Guess what, in the year I was with AICE there was no gear, and the logo that I created actually had AICE in it.

    In my opinion I was professional about it all. I even wanted to meet Arnie to put everything at ease, but I guess he was too busy? Am I BASHING AICE here? There was lots of opportunity in a 4 month time span from November to February of this year..and we all know what that did to our heads.

    If it makes you feel better about yourself that I am in trouble or what not then by all means continue. I’ll be just fine doing my own thing, as you’ll see in the coming months.

    Hey, maybe I’ll just join up with Boone with the kicks. What do you think?

    Not Arnie… he can’t type without typos and definitely couldn’t pull off speaking in the 3rd person.

    Not Coondog… I can’t really prove that one though. But he’d have posted something much more anti-IFOCE than I did.

    I’m glad to see you believe Rhonda Evans is Mr. Shea, but I think you’re wrong. They actually run a real business in NYC. IFOCE is just one branch of that, and I hope they are much to busy with real P.R. to post on this site as often as Rhonda Evans does. But, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s Crazy Legs Conti. He’s very well educated, CE and otherwise, and I imagine with his intellect he has the ability to realize that even though he’s part of IFOCE any CE publicity actually helps him. All just my opinion.

    I think maybe it’s time that Furious Pete share his version of what happened and what he wants; because, obviously, it’s different from what some people, me included, have been led to believe.

    I agree TOTALLY! Since your becoming a part of AICE a lot of opportunity came their way. Did it come their way because of you? That I do not know. Either way, it did go to their heads. Arnie went against everything he preached for so long and “to protect the brand” thought that he had to go the way of the CONTRACT. I couldn’t, and still can’t, believe it. There are still successful businesses that operate without contracts. And, I believe, those businesses create more and better brand loyalty by providing a quality product and customer service rather than requiring contracts. There is however a part of me that thinks contracted performers (eaters) would allow the product to grow bigger. That is the dream of AICE, I believe, however with the people currently at the helm I think they’d be better off playing the no contracts, mom & pop shop role.

    Overall, at this time, we as eaters have but 3 choices.
    1. Eat with/for IFOCE and accept what comes their way in the way of media, etc.
    2. Eat with/for AICE and accept what comes their way in the way of media, etc.
    3. Eat independently and work your ass off to make yourself a self-promoted success.

    Okay, Dale Boone, there is a fourth choice:
    4. Eat with/for WLOCE

    Most people who start off in this entertainment/sport don’t know the difference until it is too late. There is the rare exception. Congratulations, Sean Gordon you did it. You made the jump and made it to Coney Island!!!!

    Furious Pete, I’m not against you. But without your version of the events, one can only judge by what has been said/typed.

    Did you refuse to “pimp” AICE when they got you gigs? Have many of your eating gigs (recently filmed in Europe) opportunities that were provided to you by AICE?

    I look at this entire thing as entertainment business. And when someone finally does it right it will be great for all eaters.
