She had an slightly-off night….I had my usual off night. Even George Shea was wilting in the heat – 100 in the sun!! That was a sweaty bunch, even before we started eating!!
Sonya probably would have done more….none of us even slightly “pushed” her. I enjoyed seeing her again, meeting a whole new bunch of eaters-most from right near Chattanooga, and it was great to see the Krystal Marketing Crew-They are all so terrific to us eaters. Everybody was pulling so hard for me to get at least my own personal record, I felt terrible when I let them and myself down. All this running, and water drinking, and I still suck!!
Some day, we will have an indoor contest again, and maybe I will finally get the “deuce”, right about the time the low average is 80 Krystals, and pigs have mastered flying…..sigh
