The field for the Cheesesteak Egg Roll Bowl at Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City on September 30 has been announced. Joey Chestnut, Nick Wehry, Gideon Oji, Darrien Thomas, George Chiger, Eric "Badlands" Booker, Rene Rovtar, William Myers, Alex Perez, Michael Dietz, Peter Ritter and Nicholas Bard are expected to compete.

I mean, should be an easy 2nd place for Nick. Unless you are Webb or Esper, it’s hard to call Nick a loser. By all means, if you think you can beat Joey next week, give MLE a call, I’m sure they’ll give you a spot as long as you publicly announced your claim that you will wind this contest.
Sometimes people don’t care as much about first place as they do about getting better individually to be the best they can be. I, for one, know I’ll never be a top 10 or even top 20 eater—so to compare myself to Joey, Nick, Webb, esper, or Sudo would just be silly.

Anybody know why Badlands and Gideon didn’t show? Gideon I’m sure would’ve taken 3rd place. Is the casino racist?
