Not stated whether the comp will be IFOCE sanctioned? Thats a pretty naive remark. Conti doesnt do anything relating to competitive eating without the Shea’s involvement or approval.

Yes, Crazy Legs would never do it otherwise. His loyalty is very admirable.

What does this mean: “but he can’t eat anything because of how Major League Eating is set up.”

The write-up sounds very much like a amatauer event, but man would I love to dig into some Pierogies right now with Olive Oil, Garlic, Fried Onion and some salt. Crazy Legs is a Great Talent to guide these Eaters on their very first experience. I mean who would you rather have on YOUR first time???? Like BB he can offer them real world advice and entertain the crowd with quick wit.
I would love me some competition…..

Perhaps a Quaker hat would be appropriate for Pennsylvania, and pirogies do sound good right now – Crazy Legs, as usual, I’m jealous!

Without Legs the MLE would not be where it is today.

I have to agree with Bison Crazy Legs has done alot media wise. I could see why the Shea’s use him for nearly every media event. I think if Superpaul lived in NY he would get his share of media exposure with MLE. Paul by the way i just completed a song about you for the new CD. Its called “Bonebreaker”. I think you will be quite pleased when it comes out

One of the smartest things the IFOCE ever did was to recognize, tap in to, and correctly exploit the talent that is Crazy Legs Conti. He is as complete a package of CE talent as you can get — eater, showman, emcee, writer, and entertainer. He has all that, as well as good looks, youth, and likeability.
As great as some of the other eaters may be, I’d say that it’s Crazy Legs Conti who provides much of the impetus that fuels the machine that is Major League Eating.

Word has it that all participants of this “contest” will be asked to sign and IFOCE contract, or they won’t be allowed to participate.
