Funny how Seiken posted a video of Crif dog contest the next day and OJ Rifkin totally ignored the link. He was waiting to find another source or sources so he wouldnt have to resort to giving Seiken credit or the hits on youtube. Any chance that comes his way to stop Seiken from getting any media attention whatsoever he will do it. Rifkin you are one piece of sh—. You plan this out of spite just to get a reaction so your anonymous cowards who are foaming at the mouth are there waiting to strike back and attack the guy. Its so predictable . I dont blame him one bit for sabotaging each and every thread under alias names. I hope he continues to be your worst nightmare. Oh yea and i love the phrase eatfeces eatfeces oink oink cause thats exactly what you are you coward!

I read that Seiken was insulted that certain eaters in the Nathans contest did not even bother to ask him to hang out when they got to the hotel, They went off by themselves and frequented different restaurants without him What a spit in the face to the man that brought competitive eating to the map.

Seiken you just could not wait to pass judgment, could you. Your transparency is obvious and that is a shame. Let this be your last lesson to be patient and not attack.

I did not leave any of those comments .If people want to have fun with my name then be my guest. It appears that OJ Rifkin only posted my links after someone made a stink about it so what the big deal?

Seiken’s journalism prowess, coverage of the sport of CE, and selfless efforts set the standard for journalism across the globe. I can see it now. Seiken Illustrated! The sky is the limit for this CE journalism luminary!

Kobayashi rises up in my estimation with his response to the mis-count of plates. He is direct and addresses the issue with honesty and is to be lauded for this. Somewhere it was written that he organized the Crif Dog Classic as a contest which is, in his opinion, as all sports should be, with a governing body but each “pro” having his own agent and ability to choose his participation and endorsements. He takes himself seriously as an athlete but likely does not realize or think carefully about the fact that none of the other participants invited to his contest have agents. They are really not athletes but a hybrid. Eaters “agents” are often, like Kobayashi, their girlfriends or wives or simply they do not exist because none of the others need translators into English. Only someone of Kobayashi’s talent would have enough potential money to have a lawyer and or agent to oversee his business. In face he has neither. Draw your own conclusions about his stance, I applaud him if he is truly satisfied with his career path but still think he may change his mind if his opportunities and finances dwindle.

When you say change his mind what are you inferring ? That he humble himself back to the Sheas? It would never happen. He would lose all respectability as a person. Unlike Americans the Japanese have their pride and once you screw with that pride there is no looking back

Brad, why are you so hateful and homophobic? It’s really sad. It’s hard to care about anything you say when you invoke decent people in your efforts to belittle someone else. Wake up, man. It’s 2012.

Its obvious that furious Pete gave Seiken the majority of the 6,660 hits accumulated on youtube in the first diss video from 2008. At last check neither of the recent videos have yet to crack 100 hits. Give it time but i honestly believe that Brad vs Pete is a dead issue that wont get much play on its own unless Pete exposes it on his website of facebook

10:27 is correct about Japanese society but Kobayashi is in the US. It is a different reality, and he has more than pride to lose. His visa will be an issue along with his income. He can go back to Japan with his pride intact if that is what he wants. I think he wants something else.

2012 I’m with you, when people drops the “F” bomb as easy as he did it makes you think that we are making no headway as people, BB looked to be taken aback by it, and the super creepy state he gives the camera is right up there with the pictures of serial killers trail.

Kobe been there done that in Japan . No incentive for him to compete there any more
Hook Up said

Kobayashi should hook up with the Great Brian Seiken. He needs advice from the icon himself. Only then will he realize his true potential.

1:03 is correct. CE is pretty much over in Japan, he had a huge run but that does not exist any longer for money making opportunities. If he could have capitalized on his talent there with sponsors or endorsements, he already would have. No language barrier there for him. He has to make it here in the US.
