WSBTV has an article and gallery about Dale Boone's victory in a Krispy Kreme donut eating contest held at the Republic Social House in Atlanta Saturday which claims that Boone has competed in the Nathan's finals seven times.

    Wow!! He’s a real mainstay in those Nathan’s Finals. I have much more respect for him now. Go for it Dale!

    ’03, ’04 and ’07 he was in Nathans and banned after that. He may have made it for ’02 as his first year, fact checking needed. He lost to Carlene LeFevre in a qualifier and was very Booney.

    My first year in Nathans it was Boone that welcomed me and my wife around and made me feel at home.Hes a pretty god guy.

    Boone came in 2001,2002,2002,2003,2004,2005,2007. Was banned by the Sheas in 2006. Won two times in 2002.Gave the extra spot to Crazy Kevin. As a gift. He let his contact elapse in Aug 2007. At that time IFOCE wanted have more Joey’s and Koby’s around. Instead of Big guys with Showmanship like Boone.In the end Dale Boone has become a house hold name world wide.When he joined WLOCE in 2008. Joey is not known any where outside of USA. And Koby will always be known by the little Asia guy.The differ in eaters are in the eye. When Joey or Koby eats it’s all about them. When Dale Boone eats it’s about the sport of eating and how much fun a contest can be. Now that is a true Champion in my eyes.

    Dale Boone is one of the most fierce competitors in the sport. He is the Pro Wrestler of the sport and we need people like him, as well as people like Joey Chestnut. We have a pretty interesting crew with Pat with his mohawk and Crazy Legs with his dreads. They all are great individuals. Boone is definitely included. Personally, he has a HUGE heart. Professionally, you are the enemy and he will demean and crush you. He is quite the showman, and we should appreciate that. He is definitely good for the sport.

    MLE rewards and honors eaters that left on good terms like Godfather, Bison, Cookie and Krazy Kevin. . Double crossers become non entities. Eaters like Boone US Male and maybe his cousin will never make it to the Major League Eating hall of fame whenever they decide to build it. Boone was thrown out because he competed in a dumpling contest . US Male was tossed because he competed in wingbowl and mocked George Shea and the IFOCE with his wingbowl entourage. His cousin wore a Criff dog shirt in a documented eating challenge which certainly did not score hall of fame points.

    Five contests, plus one Krispy Kreme contest makes 6 contests in 7 weeks. Less than one per week. You better step up your game to get the other 169 contests in before the end of the year. You have less than 2 days in between contests now.

    REALLY? How were these eaters rewarded and honored? What a stupid statement plus the fact that the Goldstein boys were mentioned kind of tips us off on who wrote this statement.
