  1. Rich “The Locust” LeFevre 35 burgers

Gentleman Joe loses!! Well, after GJoe’s guarantee that: “Nobody, worldwide can beat GJoe in a 3 minute wing eating contest.” I guess he has some egg on his face, or rather hot sacue. GJoe actually still thinks he can probably beat Sonya, Chestnut, Jarvis or Booker, but he’s wrong. I challenge the Gentleman, just as I challenged the Chowpuppy to list his victories over Jarvis or Booker. Of course he’s never beaten Chestnut, because he just started this year. By the way, I’m still waiting to see the list from the Chowpuppy as to when he ever beat any of the Top 10 IFOCE eaters. I think there might be a reason he hasn’t listed it yet. Hint: He never beat any of them! Not to fret GJoe, you’ll find another lame contest to enter soon, and whip up on some poor schmoe.

When Mike Tyson got KOd by Lennox Lewis he went out and fought the biggest tomato cans he could find . Anything so he could avoid Lewis and make a name for himself by piling up a string of victories over worthless setups. The same seems to apply to Menchetti but lets cut the non gentleman some slack . He would practically give half his bank account to get Sonya Cookie Chestnut etc in the ring. For what strange reasons i still dont know. He could never knock the crown off any of their blocks. His two lone IFOCE titles were conch fritters and corn. In the conch fritters he beat an aging if not has been Ed Krachie and in corn a very young and inexperienced Joe Larue. I will say that these names are no slouches but its not in the same league with Sonya & Booker etc etc. The names just mentioned wont give Menchetti the time of day but why do i get this feeling he could lure Chestnut into a match contest. Menchetti is a coniving manipulator capable of anything .He wont rest until he has a plate of food and a stop watch between himself and an IFOCE member ranked in the top 10.

    Dan,

Glad to see you are a fan of speedeat. I beat Booker in wings in buffalo, then again, nearly everyone did that day. I beat Jarvis in 1 minute pickle lost in a tie break in hotdogs & lost by less than 1/2 a pickle in 5 minute contest. Unfortunately, i’ve only been against Sonya twice. Coney & wings. lost both. Those were long events. I don’t claim that i can best Sonya or Chestnutt in a long contest. I strongly believe I can get them in shorter contests. The guy I lost to is more of a pro than any eater outside of the top 5 or so in any organization. He has entered 3 contests in just over 6 months & has won about $2,200. w/out leaving his hometown. Can Seiken or Suebitch et al say they’ve won that much in there whole lives? Probably not! In 6 minutes I ate nearly as much meat eaten of the bone as Joey Chesnutt did in 10. Would I prefer to have won and kept my 8 month winning streak alive, of course! Apparently I wasn’t able. (I didn’t see the winning eat because the owner asked me not to show til the end, cuz of lack of entrants after I posted 2.25 lbs very early in the contest the last time. Head up & challenge wise (I offered to have the winner of the last heat between Carlos & I be the winner, he refused) I won.

Thank you for your continued support of speedeat, trench, & all of eating.

What is not said is that the contest was in heats. If you turn any contest into a 10-12 minute contest that are straight through there is no way they would come close to chestnuts totals. If it were only 3 minutes I would put my money on chestnut everytime.

This is Yom Kippur the holiest of jewish holidays. It is a sin for anyone to go on the computer and discuss competitive eating when you are supposed to be fasting . Shame on you if you are jewish. If you are a goy then its a different story.
