Relish the opportunity Wrecking Ball. I would love to someday go up against some real big names in wings. After my one event with MLE (non wings), the best eaters earned my respect. But it would be fun to do a food that I really have some sort of chance of getting into the money if i had a good day. I enjoy my place as an amatuer eater right now. I will be trying to win an amatuer event right around the same time.

Screw the critics, don’t mind the big names, just eat some wings. I am envious of your position at the table, I will be pulling for you.

OJ since BB buried the hatchet with you , why dont you mention some of the updates on his site like US Male conquest of the BMF sandwich in NJ. Is it because the story did not come from a press release or are you just avoiding his site period? I could see where you dont want to step on his toes with the story but you can always credit him with the news while linking it to you site

Has there been a full clean sweep of BB’s site? He said to be patient, that it would take time.

Anyone who knows anything knows that the wing stop even is just a failure of an attempt to get the IFOCE attention when all the national media will be focusing in on wing bowl. So yes big time eaters like joey, pat, and bob will be there but ask them what they rather be competing in that week.

    A. Nonymous Fan: Wing Bowl has been discredited over the last several years amongst national reporters begining with the cheating, drunken, racist, sexest way it has been handled over the last several years. It is not a national media event, and since the Eagles’ season is over there is no news hook to the Super Bowl. All national sports and general interest reporters will be in Dallas looking for area events to cover and WingStop is a perfect fit. No sensible national news wire or publication outside the Philly area will spend money and send reporters to the Wing Bowl when the news in Dallas. Especially since Wing Stop is attracting the top most nationally recognized eaters and not some second tier wannabes. From a pure news standpoint if a national desk has to choose between covering Chestnut or “Furious” Pete — Chestnut gets the nod, “The Black Widow” or “Super” Squibb — the response is who’s “Super” Squibb? And one more thing, you don’t speak for Joey, Pat and Bob, so don’t speculate on their opinion since you really don’t know them, competitive eating, and how it works from a business and public relations standpoint.
