Why is no one getting all revved up about the toll on Joey Chestnut’s body with all of the hotdogs he is eating not to mention other categories of food. Surely there are unhealthy results for him.

I competed many years with MLE and as far as earnings i made jack shit in return Grand total of $225 in two separate contests one of which payed $25 still waiting for the check The remaining $200 was paid on the spot to all the eaters who competed in that event Prob the best sponsor MLE ever had besides Krystals . I finished third in a bunch of contests but recieved $0 in return. In one my 3rd place finishes in pasta i recieved a certificate of honor similar to the piece of paper the scarecrow recieved in the movie the wizard of oz The other non monetary award for 3rd place finish which took place in Lancaster PA, was a road map of PA along with a CD of an unknown country singer both of which i deposited in the trashcan As far as the womens Nathans contest some of these women who qualify should thank their lucky stars they get paid the generous amounts they receive in earnings considering their primitive totals they put up in the contest. The only female eaters deserved of the money they earn are Miki Sudo and Michelle lesco If you want to go back enen further Sonya, Juliet Lee & Stephanie Torres Two of those three unfortunately are deceased This prettyman or pretty woman is another example of someone who made out like a bandit walking away with 7k while avg 11-13 dogs in total They should be grateful there is a womans contest for if they competed in the mens event majority of them would finish in the bottom of the barrel let alone not even be able to even qualify for the finals

not sure if that comment was a knock on chiger but there was a time when 25 was a number that was only achieved in the finals and you not only won but was considered the elite of the elite

@355 times change. 25 hot dogs is rarely a winning total at a qualifier nowadays. The Chiger guy is more of a side show act for MLE than a real eater.
