Funny article. “I want to introduce Indian women to competitive eating, says Dale Boone.” I think Dale Boone just wants to introduce Indian women to himself.

In the article he claims to have ridden a bike from Chennai to Bengaluru. That’s 150 miles. If he averages 15 mph on the bike, that is 10 hours, which is an average speed for bikers in good riding shape. I find it improbable he made that trip on a bike.
“I thought all of India was like Chennai. I saw the country through the city’s eyes. That was until a friend suggested I travel to Bengaluru,“ he says. So in 2009, he made an impulsive bike ride to the garden city that was experiencing an IT Boom. “I kept riding via Hosur Road and did not stop till I reached the Domlur flyover. Lo and behold! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw a TGI Friday’s (an American restaurant) there,“ he exclaims.”

the roads in India are narrow and deadly. Its like driving on cliffs of Mount Rushmore with no highway barriers or dividers to prevent your vehicle from plunging 3700 centimeters to the ground. You can take that pitiful country and shove it
