Here’s our report with exclusive quotes and a fair few vids: http://www.therakeandherald.tv/society/societystory.php?id=187

It also covers the KC Burnt Ends Battle (6/10/12); the forthcoming MuchoBurrito Ghost Pepper Burrito Eating Contest in Toronto; and Randy Santel’s food challenge tour of the UK.

    Plus a few typos, probably.

The real story here is that I was confirmed to be in this contest which is bewildering since All Pro banned me a few years ago. I didn’t show up ’cause if I would have made the trip to Manhattan, which is a hump for me from where I live & they told me I’m not in it I would have had to beat the crap out of a few people.
As crooked as MLE is, All Pro needs to get their shit straight.Next time I will show up & put on a show that will embarrass this amatuer organization to no end.
(Sorry this took so long but my computer blew up when I tried to watch a dozen pornos at once.)

I thought Dave O Karma took over for Arnie Chapman? If that were the case Gavonne would never have been allowed to compete. I could just imagine the expression on Will Millender face if they did allow him to compete.

I guess some people forgot to congratulate Jamie McDonald who continues to tear through competitive eating like the shining new star he is. It is great to see independents like Jamie and Pete taking competitive eating farther and farther. And even better is that with Rake and Herald we now have a terrific way to follow all contests. They are all inclusive with great humor and wit and multi-media presentations.

With eatfeats who is long established as the place to find out gobs of information, even if people get turned off by the horrid comments often written here, we too can just not read the comments. Often the comments do not show the face of competitive eating well. Again, it is really a shame that eaters of all talents who are upstanding people of fine character and interesting people as well do not comment on here because of the very rotten apples who take pleasure in being hateful and negative. That’s life in many worlds, still I wish that people would monitor themselves better and stop commenting out of jealousy and selfishness.
