It appears the premise is the $1,000 prize is still available for anybody now beating the new record. But would have been a lot nicer to have only beaten the record slightly, so other people have a better chance at winning $1,000 too. Though maybe the owner would just close the challenge if it was only slightly beaten, for fear of people taking him for too much dough.

Kevin, you can’t expect any of these new eaters to just beat a challenge “slightly” so that it can continue. The new narcissistic eater is all about “me, me, me” and can’t handle the possibility that someone may take their record away. Bunch of self-centered assholes.

    Hey Kevin,

Yes it appears there is a new cash prize. When I did it I was informed there was only one prize and hit it hard to win. Other wise, I would have let time run as I normally do. I believe this convo was also caught in my video (which will eventually be released).
Hope you get the chance to beat it and get that cash!
    Thanks
    Joel

Hey Joel! Yeah, if they didn’t even tell you that’s the way it works, then definitely not your fault. I wanted to get out there right away after hearing about it to try to beat it myself, but couldn’t work it out schedule-wise. I had a possibility of beating 14 minutes, but I don’t think I have a chance of beating your time!

My programmer is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP.

I have always disliked the idea because of the
expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less.
I’ve been using WordPress on a variety of websites for about a year and am worried about switching to another
platform. I have heard excellent things about blogengine.net.
Is there a way I can import all my wordpress content into it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
