The Krstyal site is crap . They promised live webcams on the web of the contest and we got nothing so far. A taped delay video would be fine with me but so far they havent kept their promise on even doing that. What happened to Joe Larue?

There are live webcams. You have to be on the site when the event is happening live to see the live webcast.

10 behind Sonya? Was he taking it easy or can we expect Sonya to grab a big win in the finals?

Mega Munch, he didn’t have to push himself too far, I mean, the guy did eat 11 1/2 lbs of waffles the day before. The record does not need to be set until the final countdown October 28th. That is still amazing after coming off a contest the day before.

Even when Joey did the the horseshoe last month, people were like oh, chip was right behind him for the ribs…once again, the day before, he ate over 6lbs of heavy food and had to go through all sorts of transporation to get to the ribs (exhausting).

He had to drive 3hrs from springfield to chicago, then catch a flight to NY, cab, then train to the ribs. Him and Eater X. these guys are true bad asses, back to back along with all the others that have done this. also the triple eaters who did back, to back, to back this weekend.

    May God bless their bellies.

My congrats to everyone who made it to Jacksonville.

As George “The Announcer” was saying to the crowd, the heat was taking a toll on everyone, including himself.

I was at a good clip for myself and finished 5 Krystal’s before the first minute was out. I was working on a 40 plus pace before trouble hit.

At number 7 I hit a wall and on number 8, they started to work there way back up. I struggled to keep going while fighting back a DQ.

After being in two contests back to back for my first time, I am happy with my count and not suffering a DQ.

Overall it was fun. I’ll take a month off before my next Krystal’s event in Perry on my 50TH Birthday.

I’m far from being the best in these contests. Being more than twice the age of many of these champions, I feel blessed just to be able to try and compete with some of the best in the world.

Hanhman you sound like a real decent guy. You have a great attitude and it’s people like you and Humble Bob (and Andrew) whose attitudes really make me feel good to be a fan of the sport.

I believe Joey could have eaten about more Krystals if he pushed himself. And yes, the Waffle contest the day prior might have taken a toll on him.

I think it will take 70 – 75 Krystals to win the Finals, and it will be Koby winning it again. As much as I like Sonya, and as much respect as I have for Joey’s ability. They are simply no match for Koby. The drama is in the qualifiers and individual totals.

Crazy Legs has improved a lot in the past year. He deserves to be ranked near the top 10. Seaver Miller is rapidly becoming one of the best eaters in the IFOCE. Congratulations to both of them, as well as Adrian, Hall, Joe, and Bryan.
