A female reportedly won the wing eating championship at the Buffalo Wing Festival festival. Joey Chestnut did not compete.

I hear bb was offered a spot last min and had better things to do so we have to make do with the stadium screen video. About that.what happen to TBW manners? Calling the food very dry at the 21:30 mark is like a spit in the face. Rolling your eyes on stage at 27:20 even a child knows not to do . Sonya has had tantrums in the past. In grilled cheese in Venice 2003 or 4 she refused to compete if the contest wasnt adjusted to a certain amt of minutes and she got her wish. 06 meatballs she snubbed the notorious one after a call she didnt agree with. Bb has the video solid proof. All nothing new for the princess in her own mind.

No it doesn’t suck. Sudo deserves and certainly has earned the same perks Sonya has enjoyed for the past ten years. The best eaters will always get preferrenial treatment and that’s the way it should be. Sponsors want the best talent and right now Joey, Matt and Miki have easily distanced themselves from the rest of the pack as all around eaters. Tim is great at hot dogs but he will have trouble beating the aforementioned three in most events. He is, however, a worthy #4.

Regardless of whether or not he was sick, he seems to enjoy playing with the sponsors thinking that he’s someone real important in this world when he is not. Small band of competitive eating loyalists and this site right here find him important and that’s where it ends. He is also in constant communication with his good buddy Pat .. People seem to have very short memories or attention spans and are so quick to judge others thinking that history has no part in who is important. Joey along with Sonya have records which are huge and of long duration. Even though Joey has been beaten recently, until someone else beats him in hotdogs, he is The Champion and #1.

I just read part 2. I really admire Crazy Legs for his outstanding writing ability, which is on display here.
Anyone who would diss the article does so subjectively, with a firmly entrenched negative bias toward him.
Even if Legs wasn’t in MLE’s top 50, even if he stopped eating (competitively) altogether, his contributions to CE (like those of Badlands) are greater than all but the best-known competitors.
As long as I’m a fan of CE, may Legs continue to write about and emcee at CE events.

2:48 MLE is not to be trusted with, respected as, or believed in any manner in regards to records of amounts consumed or who is the past or even current champion. In all but a few contest I have been part of or observed they have regularly manipulated totals and refereed with bias. Anyone remember a couple years ago 100 plus wings was supposed to weigh right around a pound or Conti cheating with their blessing as the MLE butt boy Adrian Morgan just bends over and takes it, doesn’t say sh#%… just watches his master cheat? He’s looked like a nut-less puss. Joey, Sonya, Kobi, Miki, cannot claim to the worlds best as they are not competing against one another in a fair unbiased eating competition. MLE is a carnival sideshow at best.
