The Kalamazoo Gazette has a report on last weekend’s Reuben sandwich eating contest held at Pastrami Joe’s in Marshall, MI. That newspaper also has an interview with Jason Fagone.

    Rifkin do a headline about the Quick Check Event. New AICE guys might challenge the dominate force known as GJoe. Either way it should be quite an interesting spectacle. Christian “Muscox” McCarthy sets a new Sub record with 6 -1/8th Subs during the 2nd Qualifier on 6/22/06—This kid here might be the real deal. All the qualifiers this year beat or tied the 3rd place finish in the Finals last year. Of course there is talk that the subs are a little different this time ’round.
