    Thanks DonSturdy – appreciate the opportunity to talk to ya’ll 🙂 Anon 6:04 – it’s just a weird hang-up of mine. It’s not like I’m vegetarian or vegan but when it comes to seeing food on my plate, I cannot eat if it reminds of an animal lolllll. So therefore, when I eat chicken, b4 it hits my plate someone (not me) has to 1st cut it off the carcass for me. So therefore no ribs, wings, turkey legs, etc. Some hang-up for a competitive eater to have, huh? 🙂 Thanks for listening to the Podcast…REALLY appreciate u taking the time!!!

    Excellent interview Larell!

    I was glad to hear Don Sturdy mention the preponderance of negative comments on this site. That reflects what I always knew: Just because people might not mention it in their posts here
    (and Don doesn’t), they certainly notice it.

    Larell, more than anyone else, you have a knack for expressing your discontent in a very positive, constructive way, and that’s admirable. (Badlands is much the same.)

    It’s no coincidence that positive people are attracted to like-minded folks, and vice-versa.

    Has anyone noticed that iits the first few sentences in the “recent comments” portion of this blog that attracts the attention . Unless they are die hard fans of eatfeats , most of the time they wont bother going to the actual thread to read some of the responses unless they are displayed on the right hand side. That means you can say something nasty about someone but as long as OJ doesnt include it in the sidebar they prob wont even know it exists

    Thanks Larell. If I have any positive traits, I owe them to my mom. As a child (a century or so ago, it seems) she DRILLED into me the importance of treating others with respect and never, ever forgetting to say “Thank you.”

    Now, as is the nature of things here, I’ve set myself up to get slammed for “talking” too much, by some anonymous person. 🙂

    I guess I missed you getting slammed Rhonda. Most of the comments are, I think, very positive. It is hard to keep up with everything, that is true. Some commenting gets lost but none but the most attentive can follow everything, This is recreation after all as well as (hopefully) support for other eaters, fans, sponsors and exchanging of important information which is not found or available even from the eating organizations.

    LMM you got to get over that wing phobia. As Sonya often points out, it’s technique foods like wings that give her more of level playing field with the big guys since you can’t stuff them like some other foods. Great interview!

    Rhonda – yeah, I don’t get the Rhonda-slamming. I personally enjoy your posts – u too Stallion. I find both of you to post intelligent, amusing and fair comments 🙂 Anon 10:42 – lol, YES!!! That is sooo tru. The side bar comments seem to just be the 5 or 6 latest comments on a variety of threads. I do actually scroll down the threads and read them….lol guess that makes me die-hard! Laurel Fan – hmmmm, just don’t see that happening, it’s a 40+ year hang-up ahaha but I won’t rule it out as a “someday” possibility. Thx for the comment!! Badlands – Oh, I’m planning on being there; hopefully my registration will get accepted 🙂 Look 4wd to seeing you ALWAYS and bring down the house in P.R.!!!
