Miki Sudo edged Joey Chestnut 246 wings to 244, to win today’s wing eating contest at the National Chicken Wing Festival in Buffalo. update George Shea has the top 4, which is all that will apparently be posted

    Hey guys, let’s not take something nice and beautiful and try to make it ugly… Buffalo Wing Festival (which is made possible by many small businesses) made a comeback after the crippling financial hardship of 2020, and the people of Buffalo got to enjoy a 20 year tradition once again. These are beautiful things.

    As for the contest, the results were incredibly tight. No one was “a waste of space” — not anyone outside the Top 4 who were announced, and certainly not Nick, who tied for 3rd with Esper. Miki did great, and she seems happy and competing up to her potential. Maybe Nick’s part of the reason she’s on a good path and if so, that’s another beautiful thing.

    No need to get ugly with the comments 🙂 Maybe just congratulate people if you care to do that, and move on with the rest. Happy Labor Day.

    Funny how people go after Nick or Miki or killer Kennedy on here…..but really Geoff and Joey and Molly are the only eaters in the world that could hang with them. Not sure what people base their attacks on

    Jealous. Not to be picky but there is auto correction for spelling. Yes, someone(s) is jealous. Having a family is wonderful if you can manage to have one and stay married. But sometimes a divorce is better for both parties and for the kids too. Eaters do have families or they don’t. It has nothing to do with competitive eating. That is ridiculous.
