Molly Schuyler ate 47 hot dogs to defend her title at the Cricket Car Hop in Stratford, CT today. Dan Kennedy was runner up with 3646. (video) update Sept 6 CTPost has an article reporting Molly's prize was $2000. Robert "The Works" McGee was amateur winner.

    Menchetti will never go into a contest blind. He always will contact the sponsor / organizer to find out who else is going. He never risks losing / not getting the place he wants based on the $& payouts.

    I did ask Molly whether I’d see her in Vegas or CT that weekend. As I didn’t get an answer and didn’t know what the prizes were this year for Cricket, I chose the guaranteed money for assisting in the pre production of one of the bigger competitive eating events in history…

    we actully turned down that opportunity in vegas, because it paid almost nothing, especially since id had to miss days of work
