New Nathan’s qualifier & IFOCE websites
A Nathan’s qualifier will be held on June 22 in West Chester, PA (suburban Philadelphia). The qualifier will be televised on the shopping channel QVC, making it the first qualifier broadcast nationwide. It will be interesting to see what merchandise is sold during this appearance.
IFOCE has announced two new websites, competitiveeatingevents.com and competitiveeating.net in conjunction with the new qualifier. The first website has travel information for IFOCE contests. competitiveeating.net has a list of the websites of some IFOCE members in which the home pages of Sonya Thomas, Erik Denmark, Andrew Lane and Brian Seiken along with the Whaler’s fan blog for Tim Janus are not found. The list claims to only include “family friendly” websites which might be the reason why the last two of those web sites were omitted, but I have never seen anything on the first three home pages that was not G-rated. Brian Subich’s home page appears despite not having been updated since 2005 when I last viewed it.

Probably because I have pictures of me training at home on my site. What’s up with the “family friendly” target demographic? I’m sorry, but that is not the target audience for competitive eating, it’s just not. I mean sooner or later we are going to have to stand up for ourselves and not be afraid to offend a few people. I’m certainly not out to offend anyone but I will defend myself and my sport if anyone wants to question me.

I agree. The rules for linking other eaters’ sites seem extremely inconsistent and shallow. If I were Sonya, Tim, and some of the others, after hearing that crap, I would consider it a favor to NOT be listed.

Wow, the IFOCE really needs to work on their web design (in a word, the designs suck). Please tell me these are just very early rough versions of the final product. And why do they even need two NEW websites? Can’t this information be housed at ifoce.com? I don’t get it.

On the contrary Mrs. Jones there are a few competitive eating sites where all they talk about is themself and if they do mention others it is like they are doing it just to make it look good or someone is holding a gun to their head. I think you are far from correct if you are implying that my site is all about beautifulbrian. Yo Mama i have to disagree with you on some aspects. The IFOCE has done a few things for me not as much as i would have liked but i wont complain. I have not proven to be the greatest eater in the world of late so i dont expect them to fly me all over the place which has been done with a few other eaters .A mere link of my site on IFOCE site would be sufficient but i shouldnt have to constantly remind them of that. I suggest everyone watch “Eats of Strength” All six parts on INDH . starting July 4 and you will witness some of the most hilarious and innovative commentary i have yet to offer since Howard Stern.

Not linking Sonya’s site is more than likely payback for her snubbing the tv show tapings in long island. Janus site is so far fetched a psedo intellect would have a hard time figuring out wht he is talking about. As for Skinny boy and eric the red the IFOCE doesnt condone individual eating practices or posting of those pics without EMT on hand. That is just my guess . If what i just mentioned turns out to be the truth then what the IFOCE is doing is not right

I swear, why do people have jump on each other some much. Beautiful Brian is doing a good thing. He is a dedicated IFOCE member and puts a lot of time into it. He puts up info on his site that is not all about him. ANd by the way, who are you angry people, and you haters. Are you guys even competitors or fans or are you guys just ball breakers?? Damn….

Thanks for the kind words Sicilian. As far as i know there are two beautifullbrian haters and they both reside in the aice.There might be a few more but those are the main guys. They can go under as many bogus names as they want but from the tone of the comments which represents pure hate i know who they are . Ironicially one of the two used to tell me how much he cant live without my website but as soon as he started hating me, the website went along with the package. Their mentality is almost childlike and these are supposed to be two adults pushing 50 yet. Without trying to sound “truculant” like Howard Cosell once said about Ali , i could care less if the IFOCE or any other site links my site to their page. My website is so well established at this point that from what i was told the fans go to my site before they log on to any other competitive eating sites although i personally would hit trencherwomen.com before i go to any other site. OJ has taken competitive eating to another level.

Truth , from your assumption the 150 or so hits i get per day from roughly 30 states in the U.S along with foreign countries such as sweden, Japan, India , Isreal etc etc must be 12 yr olds right? If you think im bullshitting you i can print out my daily stats with IP address’s and paste them on here or mail them to you. I have been reading some of these comments and i am sickened to say the least. What hate, what rage , what animosity. It is a total disgrace to hear some of the language spewed on such a wonderful site. This person that goes by the name of Beyond IFOCE seems to be a very angry individual. The others that answer him or her are no better. Eating is supposed to be fun and certain people are taking the fun out of it with these horrid comments. Let us pray for the mental cases.
