The new poll question asks when (and if) Dale Boone should be allowed to enter IFOCE contests after his return from India.

    Tim Janus and Humble Bob are class acts. True gentlemen of the sport. Mid-nineties Michael Jordan and Scotty Pippen. Mark McGuire and Jose Canseco in the bash-brothers days. Ben Roethlisberger and Jerome Bettis this past season. None of these pairs have the same everlasting love and respect for one another as these two fine gurgitators.

    If there were competitive eating sports cards I’d trade a Sonya Thomas in an Eater X/Humble Bob combo any day based on character alone. Unless it was a Black Widow rookie card. Sorry guys.

    I don’t understand how my comment was repeated, or who did it, but I understand why:

    When I wrote that, I was writing about class. Integrity to the sport. Perserverence toward one’s goals. Respect for the talents of fellow competitors- words and concepts that do not belong to the Dale Boone lexicon.

    That’s why I think Dale Boone is an INTEGRAL part of the IFOCE. As much of an ignoramus the man is, he’s the kind of guy that makes regular fans like me interested. Fight the good fight, Dale. Sue these bastards and all their mothers. My vote in the poll is a firm YES!!!!

    OJ can verify that it is not Humble Bob. I have only ever posted from two IP addresses. It should be easy enough to verify. I also know it is not Tim. I have no idea who No Mas is, but of the 3 choices, that is the only possible one.

    Mike, I do not know that I have ever met you. Once we do meet and/or meet again, you would see that I try not to waste my time on this particular subject. This is not a challenging subject for anyone that has been around competitive eating. It is like grapes on a vine how easy it is.
