Though he won, I thought Bertoletti would do better. He almost let another girl beat him and if the other one had been there she might have beaten him. Therefore he needs to drop big time in the rankings. He aint shit.. Crazy and Chris did great.

okay now that everyone who wasnt there has had a comment,i will tell you whats really up,since i was there,Pat #1=35,Juliet #2=31.5,Crazy Legs and the Mad Greek tied 24? i think it was closer to 30,but i was on the farside from them,Kevin Ross #5 = cant remember total maybe 24 dozen (sorry Kev), Nasty Nate #6 =21 dozen, new eater, first contest Scott “Scozzy Bone” Zukowski #7 =20 dozen,he did an awesome job exspecially since it was his first contest, Jason Erb #8 = 14 dozen, SyKoBOZO #9 = 12 dozen,El Toro #10 = 9 dozen, Damian #11 =7 dozen,Gravy had a reversal on 23 dozen,it was kinda funny to hear the crowd go ohhhhhhhhhh…over all it was a pretty fun contest, the oysters could have been fresher, and the were very grainy, but you deal with what they present you with…Highlights…Crazy Legs is really cool ,i can see why he is such a good host of CE, Juliet was cool and she is a very good eater too,the Mad Greek was cool (another good host) afterwards Me, Kevin,Nate,Jason,Crazy Legs,Mad Greek and Pat all just kinda hung out for a couple of hours,it was fun i know theres some good pics out there somewhere, but im sworn to secrecy on the wereabouts,hehe..okay Lowlights Pat was in the oyster shucking contest first before eating and cut 2 fingers on a shell, but he was ok,just a fleshwound…i overslept and missed driving there, had to get a last minute ticket (exspensive) and got there on time ,i was still sick,i apologize to any of the eaters that might get sick cause of me,its not much fun, anyway im over $450 in the hole (T-shirts,Airfare,silly string,Meds,Cabfares, but i wouldnt have changed anything it was alot of fun. And thats what it supposed to be fun. and Luther once again your still a total idiot,no wonder your so bitter towards women, with the way you think,no woman would want to be with you ever! go get some hand lotion and shut up please, thanks, eveyone else Have A Nice Day:)

thanks Mike,i’m sure those guys all partied pretty hard last night so it might take a day or two to hear from them, but it was alot of fun like a big CE stew ,Pats mom and dad were even there (nice people),2 things i did learn, in New Orleans follow Crazy Legs,do not follow Gravy Brown,(everytime we did follow Gravy we got lost,no offense Gravy it was very scenic, haha) and Gravy was pretty funny. At a bar called Mollies they have this frozen irish coffee drink that settles your stomach very nicely after eating oysters,i think we all had at least one, some had 3,and it did make your stomach feel better for sure….Bronson Fan, no Sonya wasnt going,Crazy Legs reported that earlier in the week,i also found an article online from New Orleans that i posted and that was wrong too, some of the eaters it said were going to be there werent.Have A Nice Day 🙂

Forget the meds Syko . Want to get rid of that strep for good? Buy 10 or 15 naval or juice oranges extract the juice from them which comes to around 64oz . Drink it all and the strep throat is gone in a day or two.

oh believe me as soon as the contest was over alot of us unloaded quickly,i only could keep down 12 dozen,at 10 dozen i was almost losing it with every oyster, the last 2 dozen took me about 3 minutes plus about 3-20 seconds stops so i didnt have a reversal.and today my throat is still kinda scratchy and i feel like shit, but it was still fun, sometimes you just gotta do the rockstar thing and deal with everything else later….oh yeah and i havent done my taxes yet either, lol…Yeah ScozzyBone, you did real well rookie, lol seriously your from New York,so is Crazy Legs,Nasty Nate,Eater X,you should try and compete in alot of the east coast events,Nate is here alot,he can help you,you had 20 dozen,Nate ate 21, i have eaten next to him twice, that boy can eat,i know.Next time maybe try something with bread, its alot different than the oysters, anyway good job again,oh yeah i guess we forgot to tell you rookies have to by the beer afterward, haha,Have A Nice Day 🙂

Congratulations Pat! (Wow, you look a bit ill in the pic–almost like you just got done eating 35 dozen oysters 🙂

I knew Juliet would do really well, but she ate few dozen more than even I expected. As I said before, hand speed and finger dexterity are very important components of being able to down lots of oysters, and Juliet has more than her fair share of both. (Women are typically faster than men in those attributes.)

I was also surprised on the positive side with Crazy Legs’ total, and yet even more surprised with Chris eating 24 dozen. This Scozzy Bone guy might be a real force. It will be interesting how he does with other foods.

Scozzy Bone did very well for a newcomer with 20 dozen and is certaily worthy of a mention on the site. But nice that they listed his total and not mine or Nate Billers though. I did 21 dozen and I think Nate did 20 dozen, so neither of us was too far behind the 3rd placers. The oysters were a lot tougher than I anticipated because there was a lot of shells and grit in them, which was offputting. I understand this since they had to shuck 5,000 of them for the contest, that was bound to happen. But those dang shell pieces kept gagging me up (not that I’m making excuses since everyone had the same thing to contend with) Anyway, I gotta get off this thing because I’m paying by the minute in an internet cafe here since I’m not quite home yet and my hotel room internet won’t work. It was fun hanging out with everyone in New Orleans. I think I’ve had enough awesome food and strong drinks with zany names to last a lifetime.

BOTB is fast approaching this weekend and I look forward to it. Unlike what BB posted on his website, this IS NOT my debut at the table. Maybe my first time at BOTB but after about 3 years in CE, not my first event.

I have the Lear Jet on standby and the Stretch Hummer Limo waiting in Myrtle Beach. After my multiple court cases that come before the State Judge in Court this Thursday, I’ll need a rest.

This weekend my wife and I will fly out to Myrtle Beach to visit with many old friends and to make new friends. As a Table Ender I do not expect to win. In fact someone has to take last place. Maybe I’ll just shoot for that.

To celebrate. my wife and I will take the Stretch Hummer Limo out to the beach afterwards where we plan to shag all night while under the boardwalk. Even Austin Powers could not shag as long as we can. Ohh Baby.

As BB says, I’m an entertainer, and an old one at that. After 34 years in the entertainment business I must be doing something right to still be able to do what I do.

It is like an old friend and recently retired fellow Pro Wrestler, Ric Flair, who said on many occasions, it is time to ride space mountain.

Good luck to all who make it out to BOTB.

As Super Paul says so eloquently. When you see either Super Paul Bigmouth Bonebreaker Barlow or The Hangman at the table, the others eaters know at least they can beat someone.

I am looking forward to Bway on the beach. I hate sticking my foot in my mouth saying its a wide open event because ive said that before and lo and behold a top ten eater such as Juliet Lee shows up and blows everyone away. I respect every competitor and that includes Barlow and Hangman. I dont take them or anyone else lightly and noone else should. Just because they are placed at the end of the table (like i expect to be) that doesnt mean that they are table enders as far as eating ability. This should be an entertaining event.I hope to make some sort of comeback in this event. I think ill get a better reception promoting my cd down south then up north. Too much competition music wise in the big apple.

Me like Bonebreaker nickname. From what me see, this fast contest, quantity not big factor. Less time for usual losers to “hit wall” like in Bonebreaker song by Beautiful Boulder. SPBBBMB good in short contests. Me think Bonebreaker Rocklow can pull upset. Of course, me also almost last in basketball picks.
Oh, well, if me wrong, back to the cave wall drawing board.

  36. El Predicto Magnifico said

    April 15, 2008 @ 9:43 am

Stoney, you have rocks in your heads along with rocks in your cave.
This is the easiest pick of the year. If Juliet is there, she wins. If Rios shows up, he wins. If neither of them show up, then you have a slim chance for your worst prediction ever to come true.
However, if Hangman, Beautiful Brian, or Super Paul win, expect really cold weather in Hades, prepare for the Apocalypse, or expect peace on earth everywhere forever. Plus, watch out for flying pig droppings, plan your “Cubs Win World Series” party and buy a lottery ticket.

  37. Super Paul said

    April 15, 2008 @ 9:50 am

The Cubs are my favorite team. Wow….that would be great! So if I win, the Cubs will win?!? Finally, I have some motivation….however, that apocalypse part worries me…but, I’ve already got my advance lottery ticket, and a warm coat. Go Cubs, and Go me, BB, or Hangerooski!!

The counting was accurate, nunya. I was actually really impressed with how well organized it was compared to previous contests I’ve done. There was judges behind each person with scorecards and people in front to replace the trays and plenty of judge type people in front. I can at least speak for the one watching me that they were very careful there wasn’t any funny business. I missed a couple of oyster pieces that fell off or got stuck to a shell and they made sure to point them out so that I ate them and didn’t leave any meat behind under a shell or whatever. Then afterwards, they made sure to recount all the trays to verify the scorecard counts were correct. All contests should be so well put on!

If all the maybes show, I would have to make Badlands and Juliet co-favorites. Even though Badlands has been inactive for a year or so, he not only weighs quite a bit less, I doubt he has lost a step as far as technique, which makes him dangerous.

And he is likely “hungrier” than ever.

Wow this should be real interesting . If anything nostalgic. You have two school eaters that basically gave the IFOCE the upstart back in 1997 BB and Badlands possibly competing once again at the same table. Even with one or two years away from the table, he can still wire this field from memory if need be.

I have competed in only 2 contests with Ryan as the MC. Corned beef in march 2004 which was Ryans debut with the IFOCE and Watermelon july 2004 with Ryan as MC. I came in third in both those events. I think BB will be there. But if he’s not I can certainly understand with the cost of gas at an all time high. The folks coming from NYC may well need to carpool to minimize expenses.

I think that’s why previous winners (Chip, Dale Boone) were from the south. Coming from too far away is cost-prohibitive.
